The last edition of the Thaifex took place since May 31 to June 4 at the Impact Center in Bangkok.
This year the Fair attracted more than 42.000 people coming from over 133 countries, besides the 33.000 Thai visitors, recording a 20% increase in comparison to the 2015.
Bioagricoop participated also this year in the Fair, through a collective stand of 36 mqs open on 3 sides.
At the stand, frequented by many visitors, it was possible to know the organic products of our network, namely:
- Sicilians pesto, juices, patè;
- cheeses;
- rice crackers;
- biscuits, bakery products;
- balsamic vinegar of Modena.
During the 5 days of the Fair, the stand has attracted many operators of the organic, also thanks to the design of the stand, that clearly identified the products as organic ones.
The day 2nd of June a gala dinner took place at the Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn in Bangkok.
To the gala dinner were present around 30 guests, that could taste our organic products cooked by a chef.
The menu of the gala dinner included:
- “Bruschette” with artichokes spread, Capuliato, dry tomatoes, pistachio spread;
- “Linguine” with truffle;
- “Fusilli” with bottarga fish;
- “Eliche” with olives sauce;
- Cheeses and salami;
- Desserts of biscuits;
The two events in Thailand received a good success profiting of the taken contacts and of the job done during the previous three years of the project.
