Biofach Brasile 2016

Biofach Brazil 2016 was held from 8 to 11 June at the Pavilhão da Bienal do Ibirapuera in São Paulo, Brazil.

The twelfth edition of the Fair welcomed 300 exhibitors and over 19.000 visitors, including sector operators and end customers, who attended the Fair to learn about the new products that will be available in the coming months in the Brazilian market.
During the event, meetings were promoted between the various segments of the supply chain through dedicated events and activities.

Bioagricoop participated in the Biofach Brazil with a 26 sqm stand.

The Brazilian market is a market with great potential, especially in the organic sector. The organic market in fact produced a turnover of almost 700 million euro in 2014, with growth forecasts in the following years. Imports of organic products, mainly from the US and the European Union, amounted to 40 million euros.

During our presence at the Fair we have recorded a considerable interest in our organic foods by importers and end customers. In fact, despite the current economic crisis in the country, the demand for organic products is growing strongly due to reasons linked to health and food safety.
The products we showed on the stand were very successful. Moreover, the Fair has proved to be a perfect context for B2B meetings, where it is possible to reach importers interested in organic products. We have gathered important contacts to help Italian companies create a network in Brazil and be able to introduce their products in a very promising market.
