Info and Technical services
Organic agriculture developed in Europe and in Italy in the late '70s is based on a method that aims at enhancing the environmental resources, through the development of the biodiversity of the agroecosystem and the use of natural processes and products.
The EU Regulation outlines the general lines of the method, as well as the allowed techniques and inputs. However, it obviously can not specify the optimal combination of the techniques in the various company typologies and pedoclimatic realities.
With the Best Practices of organic farming we want to decline and specify the application of the method in the various realities to obtain the maximum benefits for the environment, product quality and biodiversity.
Therefore, reference models of organic farms are defined with structural traits that can prove the application of the biological method.
