Projects

A very important part of Bioagricoop activity is represented by cooperation projects.Bioagricoop participates, as project leader or project partner, in national and international projects, usually co-finaced by the European Union and/or the Italian State.

Bioagricoop concentrates its efforts mostly on projects related to the promotion of European organic and typical products in non EU countries (i.e. China, South East Asia, India, Latin America etc.) or in the promotion of organic farming practices and sustainable development in Third Countries.

High dilution compounds for plant protection in agricultural systems with low environmental impact

In November 2016, we started a new research on “High dilution compounds for plant protection in agricultural systems with low environmental impact”, three-year project, co-sponsored by Regione Emilia Romagna within the Rural Development Plan 2014-2020 with FEASR support.

The project is managed by Operative Group PAD BIO, consist of: Bioagricoop scrl (main leader); Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna, Department of Agricultural Sciences; Agri-bio Il Poggio of Claudio Cinelli; Rocchi Nino Farm; Poletti Roberto Farm; Baroni Pier Luigi Farm; Corte Roma Agricultural Society of Rocchi Nino & C. S.S.

The main aim of the project is to test and introduce these new compounds (PAD BIO compounds) within the organic farm management system, produced using a minimum amount of natural raw material with low environmental impact, able to develop the natural resistance of plants to fungi disease.

In addiction, the project wants to assist the disease control with minimum impact methods in order to reduce the pollutant use, to improve the quality of water and to verify the adaptation of agricultural system to climate change.

Initiative supported by Rural Development Plan 2014-2020 – Action 16.1.01 – European Operative Group for Innovation “productivity and sustainability in agriculture” -  Focus Area 4B -  Project “High dilution compounds for plant protection in agricultural systems with low environmental impact”.
